Kram, McCarthy, Ayers & Frost, LLC is staffed by accountants that are uniquely qualified to address the financial and accounting needs of businesses and individuals in the area. The partners' qualifications and experience are listed below.
Thomas J. McCarthy, CPA
Thomas J. McCarthy began his accounting career working in the corporate auditing field in the early 1980's. He opened his first accounting practice in Greensboro, MD in 1984, and then opened his second location on Kent Island in 1985. Having made Kent Island his home in 1985, he has been a practicing CPA and along with his wife, have been members of the local community ever since.
Having dealt with a variety of businesses, estates, and individuals over the years, he has extensive experience in all types of tax-related issues including negotiating with the IRS and other taxing authorities. Moreover, he provides many of our business clients with on-going financial statement analysis, support, and advice. He is a member of the Maryland Association of CPA's (MACPA) and Maryland Society of Accounting & Tax Professionals. Mr. McCarthy has also provided many of our clients with other services including:

Gregory W. Litvinuk, CPA
Gregory W. Litvinuck has been a life-long resident of Kent Island. After graduating from the University of Maryland College Park with a Bachelor of Science degree in 1987, he became an employee of Kram & McCarthy in September, 1988. Since then, he has progressed from Staff Accountant to Senior Accountant, became a CPA in 1995, and a partner in 1998. He is a member of the Maryland Association of CPA's (MACPA) and Maryland Society of Accounting & Tax Professionals.
Mr. Litvinuck has multiple years of experience in the preparation of various tax returns including but not limited to, individual, corporate and non-profit tax returns. He also has extensive experience in preparing business financial statements and assisting clients with many aspects associated with the financial statements. Due to his computer knowledge, he has a unique ability to assist clients in different aspect of computer use in their company.
Christopher J. Williams, CPA
Christopher J. Williams has over 12 years of experience in public accounting specializing in financial services, cryptocurrencies, partnerships, high net worth individuals and management companies. After Graduating from Rutgers, the State University of New Jersey - Newark with a Bachelor of Science degree in 2006 Chris worked in the New Jersey / New York Metropolitan area before moving to Maryland in 2018. Chris helps clients plan for new regulatory matters and consults with them on how to improve efficiency in identifying tax savings opportunities. Chris also obtained a Master in Taxation from Rutgers, the State University of New Jersey - Newark in 2016. Chris is a licensed CPA in the states of Maryland, New Jersey, and New York. Chris is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), the New Jersey Society of Certified Public Accountants (NJSCPA) and the New York State Society of Certified Public Accountants (NYSSCPA).
Allen K. Ayers, CPA CVA CFP® MST
Allen K. Ayers is a Certified Public Accountant, a Certified Financial Planner, and holds a Master’s Degree in Taxation earned from the University of Baltimore Law School. He is accredited in business valuation by the National Association of Certified Valuation Analysts. This credential was granted upon proof of business valuation experience and successful completion of a written examination. Mr. Ayers has been practicing in the public accounting industry for over 33 years. He has been providing business valuation and litigation support for over 18 years.
Allen is versed in virtually all tax return preparation services. He has provided individual, corporation, partnership, estate and gift as well as foreign tax return preparation. He has taught several courses for professional organizations as well as being an adjunct professor at a local college.
Allen has been appointed as an expert witness in the Circuit Courts of Talbot, Queen Anne’s, Anne Arundel, Prince Georges, Baltimore County, and Baltimore City. He has also been appointed as an expert witness in the District Courts of Anne Arundel, Washington and Talbot Counties. He has provided expert witness analysis and reporting under Rule 26 of the Federal Rules of Procedure as well as the United States Federal District Court.
Valuation and litigation support services include mergers and acquisitions, divorce, buy-sell agreements, gifts and estate tax reporting as well as dissenting shareholder cases. These services have fallen under a wide range of industries, including professional services, real estate development, construction and contract companies, retail and wholesale sales, automobile and motorcycle dealerships and intellectual property.
Litigation support includes valuation reporting, expert witness testimony, lost profit analysis, forensic asset tracing in theft and fraud cases as well as shareholder dispute resolution.
Glen E. Frost, ESQ., CPA/PFS, CFP
In addition to being a CPA, Mr. Frost is a managing partner of Frost & Associates, LLC a Maryland based law firm. His firm focuses on Tax Controversy and Litigation, International Tax Matters, Tax Planning, Estate Planning, and White-Collar Criminal Defense. Mr. Frost manages a team of Attorneys, Certified Public Accountants, Enrolled Agents, Former IRS Employees, Certified Fraud Examiners, and other professionals. Mr. Frost is a graduate of the University of Baltimore School of Law and holds an LL.M. in taxation. He is a licensed attorney in Maryland, Virginia, Florida, and Washington, DC. He is also a Certified Public Accountant and a Certified Financial Planner® in the United States. Mr. Frost focuses his national and international practices on representing clients in tax collection, tax examination, and tax appeal matters pending before the Internal Revenue Service (IRS). Additionally, Mr. Frost represents clients in civil and criminal litigation in U.S. Tax Court, U.S. District Court, and State Courts. Mr. Frost also provides tax planning advice on a variety of issues. Mr. Frost also holds a Master Captain's License with the United States Coast Guard and is authorized to operate for charter inspected vessels of up to 50 Gross Tons.
